My journey

I have my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and love understanding the inner workings of the human mind. I’ve participated in a number of extracurriculars, but the most instrumental to me were CSTEP and ColorStack.

CSTEP helped me make connections and land my first internship as a Commercial Business Analyst. ColorStack fueled my curiosity and gave me the encouragement to explore Computer Science and coding as a hobby- ultimately leading to my participation in a CodePath iOS development course where I worked on a team of 3 and created 3 apps from scratch with guidance and we created our own app as a final project. This led to my Software Engineering Internship at Dell Technologies.

As a Software Engineer intern, I was hired remotely since this was right after the Covid 19 pandemic. Despite having a majority of my internship virtual, we were able to fly down to Texas for a week where we got to meet the other interns in our cohort and even had a Hackathon. I later received a full time offer and chose to work for Dell right out of college!

As a Product Designer and full time employee at Dell for over 2 years, I am glad that I have been able to balance working at home and traveling to Dell HQ to meet my team. Having these conferences annually really enhances the experience!
